How much does salon software cost? A straight answer
Every vendor answers this with 'it depends'. Here is the useful version: what the models are, what they cost at realistic volumes, and where the charges hide.
The three models, and what each really costs
Flat subscription
A fixed fee per location per month, usually somewhere between a few hundred and a few thousand rupees depending on the tier. You know the number in advance and it does not move with how busy you are. Blisie prices this way: ₹699 Basic, ₹999 Standard, ₹1,999 Pro, per store per month, excluding taxes.
Commission or per-booking
The platform takes a percentage of bookings or of payments it processes. There is no monthly figure to quote, which is exactly what makes it hard to compare. Do the arithmetic on your own numbers: multiply your monthly bookings by your average ticket by the rate. At a few hundred bookings a month this frequently exceeds any flat subscription — and it grows as you do.
Base plus add-ons
A low advertised price for a core plan, with the pieces you need sold separately. The headline is not the price. Build the actual configuration you would use, add it up, and compare that total.
The charges that are easy to miss
- Per-location fees — a second branch usually means a second full subscription. Check before you open one.
- Per-staff fees — some vendors charge per user, which turns hiring into a software cost.
- Payment processing — a separate percentage on card and UPI transactions, distinct from the software fee.
- SMS and WhatsApp reminders — often billed per message on top of the plan.
- Setup, onboarding or migration — one-off but occasionally substantial.
- Annual-only billing — a monthly-looking price that requires paying twelve months up front.
- Taxes — most published prices exclude applicable taxes, including ours.
What you should expect to be included
At any sensible price point, these should not be extras: unlimited bills, a calendar with per-service durations, customer records with history, and support that answers. If a vendor meters your invoices, that is a signal about how the rest of the relationship will go.
What Blisie costs, in full
₹699, ₹999 or ₹1,999 per store per month depending on tier, excluding applicable taxes, billed monthly by autopay after a 15-day free trial. Unlimited bills and unlimited staff on every tier. No commission on bookings or payments. No charge per user. A second branch is a second store on its own plan, and branches can sit on different tiers. Setup is self-serve, so there is no onboarding fee.
Frequently asked
How much does Blisie cost per month?
Blisie is priced per store, per month: ₹699 for Basic, ₹999 for Standard and ₹1,999 for Pro. Prices exclude applicable taxes and are billed monthly by autopay after a 15-day free trial. There is no commission on bookings or payments and no per-user charge.
Is salon software charged per staff member?
It depends on the vendor — some charge per user, which makes hiring more expensive. Blisie does not: every plan includes unlimited staff members, and pricing is per store rather than per person.
Do I pay twice if I have two salon branches?
With most vendors, yes — each location is its own subscription, and that is true of Blisie too. A salon with two branches pays for two stores. Both sit under one login with one dashboard, and each can be on a different plan.
